General Institutional Regulations:

Attendance in Classes and Clinical Experience:

– Students must attend Orientation Week on the

first day of the first semester.

– Class schedules will be posted on the

bulletin/notice board.

– Classes will be held from 8.00 A.M to 3.00 P.M

– Students will not be allowed to enter class after 15 minutes from the start.

 

 

 

– Attendance is mandatory for all classes and clinical sessions.

– Students are responsible for arranging make-up

classes, assignments, tests and clinical sessions.

– 75% attendance is required to appear in semester exams.

– A 10% attendance waiver (5% by Principal and 5%

by the committee) can be granted on medical

grounds.

– 40% attendance is required to appear in RE-SIT examinations.

Regular Assigned Leave:

Withdrawal/Dismissal:

– Students are entitled to 15 days of leave between

each semester.

– During maternity leave, students must cover the

remaining course work independently.

– No absence is allowed during clinical experiences.

– Special Leave must be approved by the Head of

Institution/Coordinator.

The Institute can recommend withdrawal or dismissal for the following reasons:

– Class or clinical attendance below 75%

– Unsatisfactory, illegal or immoral conduct.

– Academic failure.

– Failure to follow institutional rules and regulations.
